I’m so happy you’re here!
My name is Amy Norton, and I have been planning events professionally for 10+ years now, but really since high school! I was always the planner of my group of friends, I even planned my own Sweet 16 and Prom gatherings, including a pink stretch limo for senior prom! I had no idea there was an amazing a career in events on the horizon.
After after high school, I attended URI where I received a BA in Public Relations with a concentration in Event Management. After graduating college, I started my career in weddings & events. I began as a banquet server and worked my way up to an entry level sales/event position. I then transferred my skills to Russell Morin Catering & Events as a Sales/Event Specialist specializing in weddings & events at private homes & unique venues throughout Southern New England. More recently I worked at the Renaissance Hotel & Hilton Garden Inn at Patriot Place, booking, detailing & coordinating all events at both hotels.
Event planning is not only a career to me — it is truly something I love and I show this in every event I plan.

When I’m not planning or coordinating events, you can usually find me at the gym or spending quality time with friends & family.
I try to travel as much as I can. I’ve visited about 30 states, 7 countries, and counting!
I have two four legged fur babies, I’m a cat mom.
Having a background in catering has helped me to become a foodie, and being a RI native.. anything seafood is for me.
Espresso martinis are the way to my heart!
